Default Facebook problems on iPad?

I have been having difficulty downloading Facebook newsfeed on my ipad4. I did upgrade to OS8 and it was fine until yesterday. Anyone else having problems. Any ideas of what todo? I can get it on my MacBook Air so I am wondering if it is an OS 8 problem. Any help is appreciated

I had the same problem yesterday. I ended up deleting the Facebook app and then reinstalling it. It's working fine now.

Did you lose all the stuff on your timeline as well?

Before deleting anything, try resetting your iPad.

Hold the HOME button and POWER button until the white Apple appears, then release. It will take about 10 seconds for the Apple to appear, so be patient.

This can fix a lot of problems in iOS, before you start deleting and reinstalling stuff. You will not loose anything, by performing this operation.

Good Luck!

I didn't lose anything after reinstalling. It's working fine.

I deleted and reinstalled before I read Mike's comment, but it doesn't look like I lost anything so all is good. I didn't think about resetting which I have had to do on other occasions. But I'm a happy camper now!
