Default How to tranfer purchased music from itunes to an iphone without synching?

I just got a new iphone 5s this week and restored from icloud with no problem. The only thing that did not come back is the music from itunes on the old phone.

I do not have itunes set up to "auto-synch" and do not want it to do so automatically as itunes may not be the latest as I use icloud for auto back up.

I have not been able to figure out how to get the music from itunes to the new iphone.

ANy help would be appreciated.

My music is in icloud and shows up and plays on my I-phone and takes up no storage on my I-phone. I do auto sync itunes and it is a good way to have a back up for all my music. I also play my music through my apple tv from icloud as well as my photos come up through my tv.

Cool

You can setup iTunes to not auto Sync, but the first time you plug in the phone, it will want to set it up and you have the opportunity to make it like your old phone...apps, photos, music, etc.

In my opinion, it's always a good idea to have a full backup of your iPhone on your computer in iTunes. If, for some reason, your iPhone became defective and needed to be replaced, you could simply restore the new phone from your backup and not lose anything.

I backed up my phone to itunes to be sure the latest was in. Then I synced the phone to itunes and it did bring back all my music to the phone.

Thanx for the direction.
