I have an iphone 6s with IOS 11.0.2 and do not have the problem.

My wife has the iphone 8 + and voicemails are transcripted plus there is a audio also.

Completely messes/clutters up the screen. In addition the volume on the audio play back is almost inaudible.

I googled how to shut off transcript feature. What I learned is the transcript feature is in beta and there is no way at the present to disable the transcript feature.

Hopefully someone here is more up to date on the issue than I am or can find.
