Where can I get a URL to insert for image?

Funny I was waiting for someone to respond so I could try to help as I was not clear either! Are you trying to cut and paste; or???

1. Sign up for a photobucket.com account,
2. Upload the desired photo,
3. Click on the photo in the album you created,
4. On the right of the page, click in the box labled "IMG Code" and
   the URL will be copied ard ready to paste into TOTV Message or any HTML program.

Hope this does it for you.

Thanks everyone. I should have said "avatar". I'm sure the above instructions are very good but I'd have a difficult time following them. I have since asked a friend to help me and she said she would help me post a picture of myself. I would just need to get a copy of a picture (from another friend) on my camera (or borrow hers) and buy a cable to plug in. She said they sell them at Walmart, so that's where I'll go.

If you are trying to put up an Avatar you can use an image from your C drive. No need for a URL.

Or, if you don't have an image, you can come to our house. My husband just got a new Nikon camera, he'll photograph you, we'll download the image to the "C" drive, you'll sign in, and post your avatar. No trouble.

Thanks for the offer, Carla. However, I want to see if I can first get a picture from my friend's camera. I'm not very photogenic and she has one that I like well enough to post. I just saw her two days ago and forgot to bring it up. Well, next time we get together. There's no rush.
