Default Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7

It has been a while since Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 has been out. I would like to install it so I could get current but I have heard of problems with the initial install. I am wondering if anyone that has installed it has had any problems lately.

I do not care or want any comments about using Chrome or Firefox as I have both of them installed for backup. I actually prefer Internet Explorer as my default browser.

Internet Explorer 11 is actually a Microsoft Update but you can install it manually.

Here is the link to the download.
Download Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 from Official Microsoft Download Center

If you have a good running Win 7 system ( Service Pack 1 needed too) , you should not have any issues with this version of IE. If you do have problems, you can always uninstall it and revert back to IE 10.

Please feel free to call us if you have any questions.

Thanks. Did the install from Windows Update and the three subsequent updates after the install. It looks okay.

Check your update settings, these should be automatic, and you will get the updates when they are released.
control panel, all control panel, windows update

I do not want automatic updates. I check and do my updates every Monday. I hate surprises.

I purposely skipped the IE11 update because of problems I heard about it. Apparently all of the problems were fixed.

But thanks for the info.
