Currently have Centurylink for internet and phone.Thinking of eliminating land line and wonder if there are other choices besides Centurylink and Comcast for internet service

It all depends on where you live in TV and how fast a connection you need. I live south of 466A and have Brighthouse for Internet. It is a cable connection and it's very fast. I like to stream movies and I want the faster connection. If you only want to surf the net and use email you may be happy with a slower connection like DSL. You may be able to just delete your Comcast telephone service and keep the the ISP. It is a cable service, isn't it?

We have century link phone & Internet. The phone is fine I feel but the Internet is very slow. I have to go where there is wifi just to open my email under 5mins. Its not that slow but slow for me. the price is ok for what im getting.

I just stopped my century link home phone and internet...could only get 1.5 mbsp service....i switched to comcast internet only got the performance pkg up to 20mbsp and am getting 25mbsp for 29.99 for 6 mon. then goes to 44.99.
