Default iPad keeps crashing!

I googled the problem and followed a few recommended steps but it keeps shutting down back to the desk top.
I tried shutting down all the Apps that were running in the background. No luck.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried a full reset?

Does this happen with a specific app or all apps? Advice from previous poster is good... Hold the HOME button and POWER button until the WHITE APPLE logo appears. That will perform a "hard" reset...it will NOT delete anything from the iPad, however.

Let us know if any of this helps.....

If it happens with the same app delete it and reinstall it. I would try the hard reboot first though. It usually takes care of that issue.

I had the same thing. I always do a soft shutdown, by holding the off button for a second or less.

When I did a full shutdown, holding the off button down for over three seconds, then restarted the device (a longer opening reboot will take place)', my constant and random bouncing out of apps ceased completely.

Hope for the same result for you.
