Default iPad problems

I have an IPad Air. Lately it loads so slowly it's like cold molasses. Any suggestions?

Cool

First thing to try is a hard reset....

Hold the "home" button and the "power" button down until you see the white apple. Don't release the buttons until you see the apple...will take 5 to 10 seconds for the apple to appear.

Double click your HOME button and it will reduce your home screen with all the pages that are open off to the side. Swipe these open pages up using your finger thus clearing all the open sites you have visited. All these open pages can slow down your loading speed. Do this on a regular basis.

This really isn't recommended any more with the modern IOS. That being said, in this case, given the sudden slow down, there may be an app that is misbehaving. I would follow this suggestion and close all the apps that have been running AND THEN perform the HARD RESET suggested above (a hard reset does not close out all programs that have been running.)

Here's an interesting article that explains more.

Stop force closing apps on your iPhone, it's not making it run faster or last longer
