Default iPhone 7.1 update?

has anyone done the 7.1 update yet?
Have you had any issues with battery drain being faster as a result.
That seems to be the major complaint in reviews I have read to date.
Supposedly serious enough the Apple is already working on a fix(?).

I updated my Iphone two days ago. I do notice faster battery drain, but not dramatic. Maybe 10% faster.

Yes, definitely. My wife's iPhone has noticeably increased battery usage after the update. Without using it that much it starts off 100% in the morning, and ends up around 20% by the evening.

Cool

I updated right after it was available.

I normally charge my phone every night, so I'm not seeing a lot of difference. I also added a fitness tracker to the mix, that has bluetooth running all the time for real-time syncing, so that is also reducing battery life of me.

FWIW...I hear these same complaints with every release of a new iOS. Not sure how they get started, but I have rarely experienced a battery issue related to a system upgrade.

I say, upgrade ....

I upgraded right away. I like the new upgrade, I haven't noticed anything unusual.

I have my iPhone 5 connected to my computer at work, so I don't get any battery drain, but my wife's iPhone 4s has had significantly worse battery life since 7.1 was installed. I turned off a lot of things like automatic updates and gps tracking, but it's still bad.

Depends on the phone. One of our techs has a 4 and he says it 100% faster now. As previously said, all updates are going to drain battery and have problems at first.
