Lost all games
My wife has Windows 10 and has a few free games installed. This morning, all of the games are gone. Did anyone else ever have this problem and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks.

No
Try xbox live to see if you can download the games. They might be on your computer so search for one you play and if you start it you might get the app back. Try the app store and download. |

A big windows 10 update just came through. I don't know why that would have lost the games but perhaps. Did you just receive and install the update?

Try running the "system restore" program, which is part of Windows 10. It will restore your computer to an earlier time.

Mine have been gone for months, during an update the BITS service was screwed up. I have tried all of the "solutions" I found on Google, I am now going to have to bite the bullet and HOPE that a previous system restore point will fix this. I feel your pain.
PS if you find a solution, PLEASE post it.

Tough to diagnose without knowing the game.
Many free games are notorious for having backdoor security issues. Monthly automatic updates include the Malicious Software Removal Tool to remove identified threats. Java games being one programming platform that Windows updates often remove. There used to be a log of all the programs removed by the update. Do a google search for your particular game. |

My wife is addicted to Solitaire and Hearts that were included with Windows 7. When she upgraded to Windows 10, they were deleted during the upgrade.
Google helped me find a free source for the Win7 games: Get Windows 7 games for Windows 10 Some words of caution:
I hope this helps. |

In the last month we switched to Apple on everything. Phones included. Time will tell but I feel better already. An update takes 20 minutes and no work just push a couple of buttons. Get this, tech support encourages you to call them for answers instead of trying to figure stuff out on your own. They speak and understand NJ English. Expensive but great. Just sign and do it. No more aggravation.
Reinstalling a backup is hopefully your answer. I gave the Microsoft tech control of the computer and he wiped out Candy Crush up to level 2100 or 21,000? I'm not sure but it wasn't a good day when that happened. I feel your pain. I don't play those games but they are important to those who do. |
