Default MSN and Outlook

Is anyone else unhappy with the new Outlook introduced for reading emails?

Sure seems to have a mind of its own and deletes half of my emails before I've had a chance to read them.

I'm unaware of a new Outlook. Was this an upgrade? I've used Outlook for years and mine is fine.

I am also on Hotmail and used the beta Outlook before it was officially converted over recently, and haven't had any major problems except for losing access one day, getting "password invalid" msg and then found that it was forcing me to change my password after 72 days, and it appeared that I lost my contacts but after poking around I found there was a setting that I had to adjust which must be a new "feature".

Jojo: MicroSoft recently converted Hotmail users to Outlook.com which is a totally separate and distinct product from Outlook which is part of MS Office suite...go figure, very confusing with same names yet totally different products. Here is quick info: What's different between Outlook.com and Outlook? - Microsoft Windows

Great explanation, Gardenia. I was a hotmail user for years and suddenly forced to change to this new Outlook (yes, different from MS office) and it doesn't have the same great features that hotmail and the old outlook had. I wrote many suggestions to them about what to change. Their search engine isn't nearly as good, and sometimes it deletes messages that I haven't even read yet.

I fought and fought to keep hotmail but they forced me over to Outlook and I'm not a happy person. Who can figure out what they do??? Remember working in corporate America???
