Default Pop up question

I keep getting an internet email pop up that says:

Enter your user name and password for the following server:
pop.att.yahoo.com

It then shows my username and password.

How do I get rid of or correct this pop up. I don't know what I am supposed to do.

Very true. At&t is having issues right now, and as far as I know, a true "fix" hasn't presented itself. (I could be wrong). However, there should be something said about if you aren't using AT&T. If that is the case, you should really be wary. This could be a virus. Tread lightly partner. I would run some virus scans to be safe. If you need any further help, let us know.

I'd get out of yahoo and go with gmail. Maybe some others have a better option, but some years ago I read where yahoo has a lot of issues plus that you can get hacked easier. Our son would tell us to go with google chrome (I think it was) but I haven't done that yet. As another person said tread lightly and don't fall for what might look legit as there's too much going on with the internet that can cause trouble.

I googled your problem, the link below indicates that not just yahoo but Microsoft mail and others may see this problem. The link appears to have some help.

Enter Network Password dialog keeps popping up - Slipstick Systems

Good luck.

Thanks for all your help. I think AT&T must have been having some problems with the wet stormy weather as both my phone and internet were experiencing problems but now seem to be okay. So glad I can actually get help from this site. Thank you.
