Default Redesigned Villages Website

I know they recently redesigned the "www.districtgov.org" website. I can access it using my Windows desktop and my Samsung smart phone. But, when I use my Samsung tablet, I get the message:

"403 Forbidden"

Does anyone know why this is happening? I didn't have a problem before they redesigned the website.

Try going to the site, but type-out the URL Welcome to The Villages Community Development Districts instead of using a potentially out-of-date bookmark.

If that doesn't work, briefly disable your VPN (if your phone is using one). It's not uncommon for sites to block known, VPN IP addresses

If neither work, throw your phone against the wall. :-)

Thanks. That worked, but the webpage address is still "www.districtgov.org". But when I type that out, I get the 403 Forbidden message. Go figure.

May sound silly, but how about calling the help desk?

Particularly on my phone, when I type an address I need to be sure that the browser isn't guessing what I want and calling up a bookmark. I might type "districtgov.org" but the browser extends it to "districtgov.org/happening/WHNewsletter.aspx" which gives me the 403 error.

My issue was answered in Post No. 4. But, I don't see a phone number for a help desk. Whenever I have called the Admin number, the person who answers cannot resolve a technical website issue.

I've been trying to find the bond amortization tables and was using an old link and got the FORBIDDEN response but when I go to the actual website, I still can't find the tables. Can anyone help?

districtgov.org

Services->Administration->Finance

Pick your County

Find your District

Select the table for your unit (area)

They don’t make the site user friendly that’s for sure.
