Default Win 10 upgrade

The free install on windows 10 ended July 29th yet I continue to have the upgrade on my desktop. I went to updates and can't find any way to delete this upgrade off my desk top. it appears every day and every day I have to shut down and restart to get the pop up off my screen.

does anyone have a way to rid myself of this upgrade ?

Try your Task Manager.

Click on Start Up.

Look for your Windows 10 name.

Disable

Good Luck

This is a guess, as I updated my computer, and no longer have the reminder on my system. If you do a Control-Alternate-Delete and bring up task manager, go to the startup section and see if there is an application that appears to be related to this. You should be able to stop this from running, or uninstall it.
Hope this helps.

Put the following into your favorite search engine, read some of the results and follow the procedure.

You will get proper step by step instructions from tech sites who know how to do this.

Of course you are being punished, by the Windows 10 gods......

However, if you enter 'how do i stop windows 10 upgrade notices' into Google search, there appear to be several solutions.
Hope this helps.

Ding dong the witch is dead.

The Control Panel>programs>updates> delete KB3035583>restart worked.

Thank you
