I hear ya! We had Verizon DSL at the camp we used to have and I couldn't tell you the number of off color expressions my wife had to hear coming out of me with mis-information, waiting several day without service before we could get local technical support and of course, the great out-sourced phone support from India. They'd make you go through the same processes you already did repeatedly on your own first before they would move on to the next page of their pre-scripted support book. Very glad I don't have DSL anymore!

Line your walls with boxes of The Villages Florida. That might baffle the sound!

We had a wireless hot spot that was limited to 5 connections at a time.
When I looked at the all the devices trying to connect to the hot spot I found we had
1 computer
2 TV sets
1 iPad
1 printer
2 TIVOs
2 iPhones
We got rid of the MYFI card and are on Comcast.
