For some unknown reason, when I go to take a survey, I keep getting the following message "Update completed and installed successfully, restart your browser and try again". (Note: It shows it is installed in my programs file). I think there is some thing blocking it. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? I am running IE 9. Thanks.

First of all when and where did you get the update notice? There is one site that I get onto and every time they went to update Adobe Reader. Well I keep it updated my self so I know this is a Trojan program trying to install something on my computer. I bail out and at times have reached over and powered off the computer just to stop things. I then reboot and run my anti-virus program and Malwarebytes and do a complete scan and not a partial.
Second point is that you are saying this is version 11.7 and the latest one shown on the Adobe web site is 11.0.03. If I were you I would be running Microsoft Security Essentials and then Malware bytes because I am betting you have a virus. When you run Malwarebytes make sure you boot the computer in Safe Mode with Networking so only the necessary operating system programs are loaded. Good luck. VG |
