Default Scrolling issue on Chrome-book

I have a facebook acount. Recently my Chrome-book changed in that the scrolling tab (on the right) for FB disappeared. It will show up after some finagaling but also will freeze the screen. How can I get it back again and what is causing the freezing? I've shut down and re-started without any success. I've also tried to find how to "fix" it in "tools". Any suggestions are appreciated!

If you move the cursor all the way to the right you should see a thin line. That's the scroll bar.

Not sure why it is freezing up. Never had that happen.

Go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner, go down to help and check for updates. If you;re up-to-date, you check report the problem there.

Use
CTRL SHIFT DEL within a Chrome window to clear the temp internet files.
Quite often, the plugins on facebook can cause some instability within Web browsers.

You might have inadvertently changed the zoom default for your Facebook page. Open your Facebook page. Choose the three dots in upper right corner. Select 100%. Close Chrome. Reopen Chrome. Go to FB page, see if it is now ok. If not disable all your extensions, (three dots, More tools, extensions). Shut down Chrome, reopen FB.

It looks like we have some Chromebook users in The Villages! Glad to meet you.

I've been trying to get more people to try the Chromebook. Do you think there is any interest in starting a Chromebook users group?

Finally....folks saw my post!!! I will try what you recommend. When all else fails (if it does) then we call our computer guy (John Townsend).

As for a chrome club---maybe! I might come "IF" you want to go to the trouble to start one!

Thank you!

The Connected Villages club meets every Monday at 1PM at Eisenhower.

On Friday the Nov 13th we are having a workshop for anyone that have computer question to get help.

I will have a Chromebook desk setup, please fell free to come by and say "HI".
