Default Help with wireless connection

Is there anyone in the villages that makes house calls to help with computer problems? I hooked up my new vonage phone today, and while it works great I seemed to have lost my wireless network. I don't get any wireless indicator light on my router from comcast and it appears to be beyond my feeble computer skills to figure out. So, before I call the geek squad I was wondering if there is anyone around that does this?

I'd call ComCast. They're really good at walking you through most problems with your router.

You might also try this first. Turn off both your router and modem. Turn on modem and wait about 30 seconds then turn on your router. That works for me. I hope this helps.

How are you able to post on here? Do you have your computer wired directly into the router?
