Question I want a better printer!

I am currently using a Canon Pixma IP 4820 and am disappointed in the colors. The reds / blues/ browns all look washed out. Otherwise, it works fine. I was wondering if anyone had a printer they are 'crazy about'. I do a lot of graphics printing and tired of the results looking terrific on the screen and washed out on paper.
Any suggestions? Send reply ahuntzinger@yahoo.com
Thanks!

We have a Kodak ESP 6150 All-in-One Wireless. It is great and the ink cartridges are the most reasonably priced replacements availoable. Cost around $110.00 at Sam's club up north.

Default better printer

Printers are like cars in that you ask 10 people which is best and you'll get 10 different answers. I would review websites of several different computer magazines. They will generally publish reviews on various kinds and models of printers with opinions, prices, etc. Find a few models that you might be interested in, go down to Staples, Best Buy or wherever, see what they have in stock, check prices, see how THEY will handle service issues (as opposed to the manufacturer), verify compatibility with your computer and operating system, print a test page at the store, if you like it - go for it! Good luck.
