Cut the cable option. Anyone try this?

Yep. I have internet but not cable. Now have Slingbox with Roku, Google cast and an Android tv box. I can see anything I want and I pay less than half of what I paid for cable

Sounds complicated for computer illiterate ME. Is this depending on area coverage? Sure would love to cut comcast!

There are several options available for streaming TV. There are a few things that people should be aware of
first, live newscasts are not available for most stations. You can get CBSN live along with a recorded version of WESH news.
also, most programming is available next day.

I tend to think of it as enhancing a basic subscription, rather than replace a subscription completely
