Several of the rec centers offer free wifi. I think that Saddlebrook where the Mac user group meets has wifi. There was also something in the Sun recently about the continuation of these services.

There is free wireless internet at Panera Bread in Spanish Springs and at Denny's; and I think maybe at the two Perkins Restaurants (not sure about Perkins - check ahead).

If you have a villages.net account ($8 per month) you can get online at Laurel Manor and Savannah Rec Centers - these two I am sure of; and I think also at Mulberry (not sure - check) and possible other, or all, of the regional rec centers.

Starbucks in Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing have wireless internet but unless it has changed in the past few months it is through T-mobile so you have to have a T-mobile account or you can pay per-session charges to T-mobile.

I think most of the McDonalds now have internet - there is one on 441 and one on 466; but there is a per-session charge of a few dollars.

The Coffee Beanery at Baylee Plaza in Summerfield on 441/27 also has wireless internet.

Thank you RDRoadie and Freeda.
The home I will be renting apparently does not have local telephone service and therefore would not have a Phone Jack. Other years I subscribed to My Travel Access and by paying $28. you got 60 Hours use as long as you could pick up a local Area Code like 352 but I was hoping I could find a Provider that you could pay so much a month for acess to WIFI from the House.
Thanks again

Emmalee Villas and parts of Mallory and Amelia have a wireless internet provider via a private villager.

It may not be polite or legal but for the most part you can always find a wi-fi signal to piggy-back on. Amazing how many people do not have secured networks!
Of course, you could get a verizon card for $35/mo if it's more than an occasional need.
