Default Adding cabinets to Colony Patio Villa

Thinking about adding cabinets to a Colony Patio Villa. Plan to update all doors and add cabinets in the corner near the pantry. Looking for folks who did a similar project so I can pick your brain for ideas, contractors, your plans and what you would change.
Thank you.

I installed my own cabinets to make a window seat and side cabinets in our Gardenia. I called warranty to get the original manufacturer of the existing cabinets and was able to exactly match the existing cabinets. I was also able to match the stone counter tops and backsplash so the cabinets look like original installation. I also did this in a manner that they can be completely removed, a few holes in the wall filled in and the house is back to original design. I did a much bigger project in a previous house (new kitchen) using RTA (ready To Assemble) cabinets, came out really nice.
Since I did my own work, I can only advise from that point of view. We used top cabinets for the base units as we did not want the extra depth on the base units. This required making our own base and getting the matching wood from the original cabinet supplier. One other interesting point, I was able to buy only cabinet fronts which I used where the actual window seats were installed.
Send me a PM if you would like to discuss further.

Default I have a court yard villa

I have a court yard villa I replaced my 10 kitchen cabinets I had them-assemble by the company. The cost was $2200. I picked them up myself in Orlando from Sunshine Cabinetry. They look great this is my 3rd complete remodel that I’ve done and couldn’t be happier. Good luck on your replacement.
