Even with the protection, they sometimes get in. The difference is that 1) it is caught earlier with regular inspections and 2) the treatment is on the provider if they do. It happened with my son in Jacksonville.

You need to shop around as there is a big difference in service and price. We went with a company that provides a nationally know product with a 10 year warranty, a million dollar liability limit and no charge for the yearly inspections. Some companies really soak you for the yearly inspection on top of the original price. I think it cost us about $700 with no additional charges over the 10 year period. At least one well known company keeps coming back, after they've established a contractor/home owner relationship with you , trying to sell upgrades that you really don't need.

Good luck with this poll,I tried to get the same info on a similar thread I posted a couple of weeks ago but didn't get to many responses. I have one of those companies that seems to always have more protection for us to buy but being from the north we don't really know what is needed and what is fluff.
