Default Anyone have experience with appliance dealers?

Hi, we are wanting to upgrade our appliances to Stainless steel, and want to know if anyone has had experience with Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, or HHGregg near the Villages with appliances.

We need all pieces and have done our research online for models, but now are wondering about the customer service of the above dealers. Any comments are appreciated.

Default SS Appliances

We moved in last October and completely redid our kitchen in December. We looked around locally, did research online, and purchased everything online. I choose GE high-end stove and microwave, Samsung French Door fridge w/bottom freezer. All these came from usappliance.com and we saved a ton of money. Forget customer service, it doesn't exist. They all send a factor rep to do repairs, and really, that only is good for one year. The Kitchenaid diswasher came from a similar site out of the Bronx area. Understand this: no state tax and no shipping costs. Can't beat it.

Lowes was wonderful. Free delivery and installation last year. Bought washer and dryer.

Check prices at Appliance Direct. It doesn't really make any difference where you buy its all factory repairs for a year. Go for the best price, AP Will match any other advertised price and might even go a little better.

We had a nightmare experience with Appliance Direct in Fruitland Park a few years ago when we upgraded our appliances to stainless. We recently bought a new refrigerator at H H Gregg in Ocala and couldn't be happier with the buying experience there. Delivery was free. They have a great selection and knowledgeable staff.

Keep in mind that if you are not currently in TV, H H Gregg will not accept a credit card purchase over the phone.
