for routine care all of them are probably ok. I go to Buffalo Ridge because they have an office in Pinellas shopping center which is close and they also have an emergency clinic at their other location in Buffalo Ridge. So if I have to take my dogs to the emergency clinic, they'll have all their records available.

The same. I was suspect of any new vet practice when I moved down. So I called up to my vet in CT who is very well regarded and checked with the protocols that Dr. Vernon at Buffalo Ridge suggested. Everything was on target. I have been very happy with her and the practice.

This maybe beginning to sound like a conspiracy but we have been content with Buffalo Ridge as well. We have had a variety of vets there. I usually just go with whoever is on duty. It makes you get an appointment quicker as they seem busier and busier.

We did have a talented very young vet-- Dr. Claire Caruana-- at Buffalo Ridge who helped us try to save Sport-- a chihuahua/terrier mix of 11 years-- but his heart murmur was getting too much blood into his lungs and he had a fourth heart failure on April 7, 2014. She sure did try everything she could think of and recommended we go to a heart specialist as well.

With much sadness we had to put our beloved mini pin Grethel to sleep on Monday. We had never used Buffalo Ridge Hospital before but went there because of a friends recommendation. Dr. Sexton was the vet available and handled the matter with total compassion. We were advised of all our option but never pressured us into any decision.
Our little girl was almost 15 and we still have her brother with us. Knowing that his time will probably not be far off we will surely use the Buffalo Ridge service at that time. Much thanks and gratitude to the entire staff at Buffalo Ridge for helping us during this heartbreaking time.
