Default attic fan installation

Has anyone had an attic fan installed recently? Would you be willing to recommend the contractor and product? Thank you.

I agree!! SolarGuys did a great job and I am very happy with the fan. Works as described and cools the attic down and I believe that the AC doesn't come on as often during the hot days!!

I had a hunter fan installed several years ago. Hunter is the brand i like. I think all i did was go to lowes and buy the fan. They made all the arraingements to have one of their electricians bring the fan to the house and install it. It made the purchase and install real simple. Thats the easiest way i know to do it. Fan runs all summer long and has never had a problem since i bought it.

I also recommend Solar Guys. They installed a solar tube and solar fan for me and did an excellent job.

Opps i was talking about the wrong kind of fan. I was just talking about a regular ceiling fan. Have heard good things about the solar guys for attic fans. Thats probably your best bet.
