U can put them in and a lot of people get the solar fans. The solar fans are easy to install and save a bit of the environment. A number of contractors install the fans (electric or solar.)

Solar attic fans are pretty much the way to go. We had one put in by The Solar Guys and the cost was around $500. There is also a 30% Federal tax credit on those but I am not sure when the credit does expire.

Default Solar

I went with Solar Guys, had 2 solar fans installed. They do make a difference. They even work on a cloudy day.

Default difference where?

Do you see a difference in the temp (comfort level) in the garage or in your electric bill or both?

I have been wanting to have a solar exhaust fan installed in our house here in VA, but just never did figure it would pay for itself. BUT, when we have our house built in TV, that is definitely going to be on my must have list along with some solar light tubes. If there was any way to do it, I would love to go total solar with grid back up.

Default Solar Guys

the Solar Guys do VERY good work...you might find one for less but the Solar Guys are the best...I am in 3-5 house a day in The Villages and I have seen a lot of solar tubes and the solar guys are the best
