Default Attic Staircase

Has anyone used a local contractor to build a staircase in their garage that will give them access to the attic for additional storage?

I would prefer a fixed staircase rather than the “pull down” stairs more commonly used.

Any names of contractors would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks Matt,

I'll contact you when the home is completed -- not breaking ground until this June.

Default Attic staircase

We used a terrific guy, his name is Dennis. He did a great job for us and his cost was much lower than the other estimates we got. Dennis numbers are Hm: 352-750-5012, Cell: 404-358-0984.

Keep us posted. I would be interested to see how to maintain the fire rating of the ceiling.
