I am looking preferably for a local metal fabricator / machine shop to help replicate two small machines that are currently being assembled in California. The owner of this company is older and slowing down. In a perfect world I would have redundant suppliers but in the event of him retiring, I do not want to be left without a backup. Any suggestions? The first is a chip cleaning machine and the second a plastic playing card machine. The chip machine is about the size of a microwave oven and the card, about half that size. I suggest you contact the state of Florida. When I worked for the state of Tennessee my job was to maintain a data base on the businesses in the state and the type of work they performed. I would imagine Florida has the same type of office. Call the main state information office and they should be able to direct you.
