Since we are new in the Vlgs, we are in search of an auto service center. We prefer an independent shop as opposed to dealerships, but some one with updated diagnostic equipment. Have Dodge Van and Jeep that we need to get serviced. We are in Sanibel.

Any recommendations or anyone we should stay away from.

Highly recommend Tri County Automotive on 441 in front of Lowe's. Excellent service and very honest.

We have only lived here a short time and also needed a good mechanic. Tri County Automotive was recommended to me and I couldn't be happier. They are friendly, do not do any more work than needed and they were very reasonable. As I sat in the office waiting for my car to be taken care of I listened to them talk to other customers and was very pleased what I heard. I would highly recommend them.

Based on TOTV recommendations I also used Tri County Automotive for an oil leak that I thought may be major. It was not. Very happy with Tri County.
