Default Need Cool shade recommendation for lanai

We are looking for motorized cool shades for our lanai that run in or on a track.

If you have an idea of cost would be greatly appreciated

We have had excellent experience and service from Lonnie at Cool Breeze. We had four large motorized screens installed on our lanai for less than $10,000. (I can't remember the exact number, but would venture that you can estimate $1,800-$2,500 per exterior screen. It will depend on size and grade of screen fabric.) They came with two remotes.

We decided we didn't mind the untethered flapping of our Cooleroos after we read how expensive the ones like this are.

I also used Cool Breeze for my garage screen. Lonnie and his son work together and Lonnie is just the nicest guy and their work is flawless. two-car garage on a designer (no golf cart) cost $1800

We thought that these screens were on the expensive side as well, but after having them installed, my husband and I agreed that they were a great investment.

We are south and west facing in our back yard and, with the screens, we now enjoy using the lanai more than ever. The screens keep out sun, heat, wind and most rain. They can be used up or down to any height, and all four work together or independently, so we have a cross breeze when we need it. They keep our living room area inside cooler. Last, but not least, they protect the outdoor furniture and rugs. We have the plus of privacy with being able to look outside with a clear view and we leave them down at night and while traveling for extra lanai entry security.

We even plan to add one on the garage to take advantage of adding some cooling to that area and, by leaving the interior garage door open, to be able to turn off the A/C in the less humid spring and fall to enjoy whole house cross breezes.

The screens increase our use and pleasure of our outdoor space!

We used Lonnie and Cool Breeze for our garage screen door. I have no idea as the cost for lanai screens, but the garage door was approximately $1800. We are very happy with the work done by Lonnie and his son in the installation of the door. And even better, they came out the same day to fix the screen door after I managed to back the golf cart into it. This is a very reputable company and would use them again in a heartbeat.
