Default Barstool Re-Sizing

We are looking for a service that will reduce our 5 bar stools from "bar height" to "counter height" and re-stain them from a light oak to a darker cherry-like finish. Is anyone aware of an experienced outfit that does this?
Thanks.

Sounds like a do it yourself project. Unless they are very expensive stools, it would probably be cheaper to just replace them.

I tend to agree with above, with these considerations. Depending on the design, you may be able to simply cut the legs, being sure to keep the cut level with the floor contact. As for the stain, you could get very lucky and use the Minwax stain and finish product over your existing finish. If you are looking for having the existing finish removed, and then restrained, then I have to agree that replacing and selling the ones you have would be a much better solution.
Good luck with your project. Hope this helps.

You could also check with the woodworking shop.
