Booked Stanley Steemer for today. Company called and confirmed booking two days ago and explained that I could add a couch cleaning or recliner for no extra charge, $97 total. Van arrived and never explained that my room was "oversized" and that there was an "upcharge" for the couch cushions. They charged my adult daughter $170! $75 more than what was quoted. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOOK STANLEY STEEMER. I called and complained and they defended the charges. They would not negotiate ANYTHING! Shame on you, Stanley... Shame on you.

When I did a brief stint as a self employed carpet cleaner I never gave a final price without seeing the carpet, its condition and the area involved. I am surprised by this work being done without confirmation of the technicians as to price and area.
