Default bicycle repair & maintenance

I just purchased a used Specialized bicycle and would like a thorough "check up" and some minor adjustments. To whom would you take your own bike? Additionally I'd like to purchase a few accessories such as reflectors mirrors and the like. Same place or another? Thanks in advance.

My husband takes his to the Cycle Shop in Spanish Springs, it's just the other side of Publix. It's a pain, because he has to get the bike into the back of the SUV which means plenty of tugging and pulling. You could ride the bike there and have someone come with you and bring you back. They do an excellent job and keep a huge inventory of "things" cyclists cannot live without!

Wildwood Cyclery - Wildwood and The Villages
410 W Gulf Atlantic Highway
Wildwood, FL 34785

This is the best bike shop I have ever used in the past 40 years. I bought my bike from them and they treat me like I'm a VIP whenever I need help.

Village Cycles is a family owned & operated biz with 2 locations : SS a few door south of Publix and a new one in Brownwood, just down from MVP Fitness.

GREAT owners, excellent employees .... HIGHLY recommended!!

Was recently purchased by Sun Cycles out of Leesburg (they now have 3 shops, Leesburg, Wildwood & Inverness) They will continue to operate out of the current location while a new location is being remodeled, It will be north of the current location on 301 near the Hungry Howie's.

I have not met the new employees but if their other fine locations are any indication, I am sure it will be very well run. (I think the previous owner is still working there as well)

If you are looking for a Specialized dealer (although not necessary for tune up & accessory work) ... the nearest one is: Brick City Bicycles in Ocala (on S. Magnolia, near the downtown "square") ... an excellent excellent shop, with perhaps the best bike mechanics in the entire area!

A local tune up Wildwood Cyclery is hard to beat. I'm also a really big fan of Orange Cyclery in Orlando, they are the closest Specialized dealer and I'm a Specialized rider. Love Orange, it's a huge shop

I usually take mine to Mark at the new Brownwood Location just beside the MVP Facility. I have know Mark for many years. Great Guy and easy to talk with. The only other Place I go for my bike would be the Trek Dealer at which I bought it in Winter Garden.

The Village Cycles also located in Spanish Springs.

I go to Village Cycles in Brownwood. Excellent service. If you live up north you could go to their Spanish Springs main store.
