Just want to share my experience with Broward Home warranty. I was told it was a good warrant to have but here is my experience. My a/c went out. Technician says it's the compressor and is under warranty. However, they want to overcharge me for other supplies needed for the repair. Example is $1800 for copper tubing that should cost less than $400. A filter drier for $300 that should cost less than $50. 6 lb of R22 for $420 that can be purchased elsewhere for $275. It's easy to see that supplies overcharge means that the warranty is worthless. So a scroll compressor would replace the original but any future problem with the scroll would not be covered because a scroll compressor is excluded. Needless to say that I am very disappointed In the Broward warranty. The total cost of repair would be $2426.76 after a 10% discount. They did offer to replace the entire system for $9700.00

I would never purchase a home warranty from any company. They are worthless.
