I was wondering if anyone has purchased a contract with Broward's Services to repair appliances and your air conditioning system. It seems I read somewhere that you pay about $200.00 for a contract and they cover everything. I was thinking about using them but am looking for other people's opinions

check the contract - broward insures only new-er appliances - a good thing if you are buying new construction. we bought pre-owned with some appliances more than 10 yrs old - kept the american home shield contract that covered for the previous owner. price is also often dictated by the particular appliances and deductibles one wants to have included in the contract.

I have Broward and think they are great. Yesterday we had them to check the AC. Two years ago it went out and All American Air put in a new condenser. Yesterday, we had to replace the condenser because All American had put two wires on top of eah other and the casing melted and almost caused a short. It cost us nothing because we had the service package. All American charged us $299 two years ago.
