Default A/c installation

Does anyone have a suggestion for a company/contractor who can install a new A/C unit?

I just had 4 contractors quote on my installation and out of them, I selected DeSantis. They weren't the lowest price but their proposal and level of expertise made me decide to use them. It was installed last Wed and I'm very satisfied. At the same time, within their proposal, they cleaned all the ducts. Very pleased with them.

We also used DeSantis and I can't say enough about their professionalism with a very difficult install. We got numerous estimates and we chose them even though they were more expensive than some of the big companies that do business here. The owner of the company even came out after the install to check on his employees work.

Excellent experience a couple of weeks ago with a replacement AC and furnace by DeSantis.

Chuck Farrell did a great job for me, had another company previously mentioned, who said I had a bad motherboard,
with $700 quote. Chuck Farrell checked and was not motherboard,
but ignitor, at $150 with two yr. guarantee. He's very honest and reasonable.

Kathie, would you mind sharing the cost range of your 4 estimates and did they include both C/A and furnace? I'm thinking a new unit is probably in order at my place.

Thanks in advance.

Sally, any chance you'd share your estimate ranges as well, as I'm guessing I'm in for a new unit or units?

Thanks in advance,

ted

We used Sumter Air and Heat. Very professional, saved money and unit works great.

If someone replies, please mention your sq ftg. We will be in the market soon too, and the size unit matters.
