Default Cable Connection

My wife wants to put a TV in the living room where there's no cable outlet. I looked up in the ceiling thinking I could drop a cable down the wall but there's too much insulation up there and I don't want to deal with it.

Does anyone know of a guy (or gal) that could do this for me?

I had the same problem. What I did was run a cable through the wall from a bedroom that was on the other side of the wall in the living room right where I wanted the cable to be. Used a slitter in the bedroom and used wall cable outlets on each side of the wall. Worked great for me. Don't know if you can do this too. Hopes this helps/

Your service provider will do this quickly and reasonably. It must be by drilling a hole in the wall header and droping the coax down thru the wall. This work must be done from the attic. Also, if you are thinking about an exterior wall on a frame home, forget it, the insulation makes it nearly impossible.

I had a cable outlet installed in the kitchen of my CYV. There is a guy who advertizes in the Daily Sun that I used. Can't remember his name, but check out his ad in the classifieds if you don't want to attempt the project yourself.

I have had Paul Clarke do cable wiring and installation of a TV mount. He did great work and the mount installation, with labor, was less than I could purchase it for. Very neat and friendly and his charges are very reasonable. His number is 352-255-5211
