Default Under Cabinet Lights in Kitchen

Has anyone installed this kind of lighting recently? What were your costs and how did you like them? I see that one of our TOTV advertisers is offering to do that kind of work and I am considering it. I would very much appreciate reading how others got along with this project and their costs.

What did you do with the cords? Did you get the round Xenon lights or the florescent bars?

I recently had the laundry room re-done, and they installed the xenon light bars under the cabinets. They're wonderful! The electrical guy went up into the attic to drop the wires down the walls. Can't see the wiring at all, and the lights have a low/off/high setting. They turn on at a wall switch. I don't know how much this part of the remodel cost (it was all included in the estimate), but the lights made a world of difference.

As soon as I save up my money I'm going to have them installed in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the xenon light bars aren't smaller than 12", so if you have a small cabinet you won't be able to put one there.

Loving my new lights,
Judy

Lenhart has an ad in the Daily Sun for under counter lighting.

I have talked to Lenhart, very reasonable pricing and I hear the work is top notch, I will be using them to do mine also.

GMoney,
If you go ahead with your project please let us know how it turns out. I have a quote from Lenhart but too busy with other things to deal with it right now. Don't know if it is high or low compared to others.

We had Lenhart install under cabinet lighting in our Camellia. Very professional, reasonable cost. Recommend highly.

Another vote for Bella. Their staff is professional and knowledgeble about their products and are able to come up with designs consumers may not think of themselves. As an added bonus, they are affordable and reliable.
