Called Sears for refrigerator freezer problem. Ice accumulating around outside of opening on ice container

They advised 75.00 service call. The day of the appointment the service tech calls us and says " did they advised you it would be between $300.00 to $500.00 to repair?" We told him absolutely not and how do you know this when you don't even know yet what the problem is. We only told Sears we had a freezer problem and they didn't ask the specifics just quoted the service call price. He said they charge $200.00 an hour and thru his experience it has always cost between 300 to 500.00! Needless to say we cancelled and at least we thanked him for letting us know before he came out and charged us the $75.00!

We called Rick Beck, 352-245-3598 very nice gentleman, highly recommend!
