Default Electrician needed for cable line installation

We recently moved into our preowned Camillia and I was disappointed to find we did not have a cable outlet in the kitchen. We had Comcast visit to activate the cable and while there, the technician looked in the attic and said he could not do the job as he was unsure what is in the wall (its an inside wall adjacant to the garage). His recommendation is to get an electrician. Does anyone have any recommendation for an electrician to install a cable line in the kitchen?

I've used this guy a couple of times. As far as I know he isn't an electrician but he has installed cable, phone lines, and surround sound for me in the past. Joe Caputo 352-516-1153

Hi failte;

To me it sounds like the cable guy didn't want to do any attic time, didn't have an electrical snake, used to fish electrical/cable lines through walls and attics.

There shouldn't be anything in the wall that would hinder running a cable through it and the ref. given to you (Joe Caputo 352-516-1153) can probably do the job just fine and you wont have to pay the price electricians are getting today.

I don't know who this guy is, I always do my own work, but you can always get a quote from him as well as any other "Handy Man".

Good Luck
Syd

Default be carefull

a lot of people do not know but running low voltage lines like cable or phones needs to be done by a electrical contractor, or low voltage contractor in the state of Florida

I think Bella Lighting ran a cable for a neighbor. Not too expensive either.

Could someone please give me an estimate of the cost of adding a phone line in my den.

Thanks
