Default House Cleaning

We just closed on a pre-owned home in the Village of Duval. Although the home was spotless, and since we are in NJ, we would like to have the home cleaned before we start ordering furniture. Also need some references on lawn maintenance and insect control. Any references or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Deb

We have Massey for the lawn maintenance and insect control. We have Fernview Farm to cut our grass and are happy with both companies.

This issue has been a difficulty for me. I have been looking for a house cleaner (feels like 1 yr). They just don't seem to exist in TV. I had one person that did not want to touch anything. Another one showed up with a list of what she did not clean, another one threw a bucket of water on the floor moped it up then said done, another walked around for an hour with a feather duster, another took a rag and cleaned the toilet then used the same rag for the kitchen counters. So needless to say I too would like to find someone who likes to clean and knows how. Maybe some industrious person will move here and want to be a cleaner. 828-230-6613

I too have been looking for someone to clean my home.First tried two sisters - did an okay job, but spent more time sitting down and talking with me. After two visits (one month) - one of them raised the price. Then switched to Ultra Kleanerz - they were excellent. However, they went to work for the Villages full time to clean homes before sale. My loss is the Villages gain - great couple- hard workers/showed up on time - in an out in 1 1/2 hours. Then I tried another company - seemed to be very professional - however the job they did was less than stellar. Even my husband stated the floors turned out dirtier after they washed the tile and laminate. It was not good. I am back in the market for a cleaning service.

So, what happened to Mary's post where she offered to clean houses when she moved here?

Are you from Toms River, NJ? I went to TRHS and lived there 78-82.

To promote a business you need to be signed up as an advertiser. Information was forwarded for her review.

Unless you pay for advertising, you can't just post your services...I think that is the reason it was removed and another several posts about a homewatch person last week, her name was ***** out.

I think. I don't know. I am afraid of posting something to make the admin's mad.

We've also just moved to TV, Bonita. Would prefer an individual for cleaning instead of a company. If anyone knows of a good, honest person please post! Getting desperate!
