Default Carts and Clubs of Ocala

I know there have been some negative reviews on this company but I just had to relate our most recent experience with them. We bought a new Yamaha gas cart 2 years ago and we have never had a problem with it other than our custom seats had a small area come apart at the seam but the problem was fixed n a very timely manner with no problem.. Love the cart! Last week we scheduled for our annual maintenance and they came today. The annual maintenance is $72 and they changed the oil, the air filter gas filter checked tires replaced spark plugs. I love they come right to your house to do it! Now they also came with a new clutch for us saying it had been redesigned (bear in mind we had no problem with ours.) and they replaced it an also fixed 2 snaps on the enclosure that had come off. Total was still only $72. So I can do nothing but give them kudos for great service and a great cart!

We bought our golf cart from them based on the very positive reviews on this forum. We were pleased with the service and very pleased with our cart. No complaints here!

The only issues with this place and the villages is that they modify the carts to over 15mph which they come from the factory with high speed motors and bigger tires.. Some say this voids your waurentee but there are many different opinions on this it seems.

The Village shop does the same.
Unless you ask for a stock cart.
No one would sell many carts in TV, if not equipped with larger tires and high speed gears., which are best for continuous street driving.
C&C will set-up your cart for 20 mph., it is very simple.
Their shop showed me which single nut to adjust.

I'm a great fan of Carts and Clubs. The recent negatives have come from a couple (meaning two) of posters who may have gotten enlarged egos bruised. I see that one of them has taken it to the POA, as per their recent newsletter. Believe me, you will find that 99% of the C & C customers are tickled with they product and their service. Thanks for telling us of your experiences.

I have 5 golfmates who bought there carts at carts and clubs and they all go 27 mph. Apparently they requested this and carts and clubs had no problem doing it.

We didn't request our cart to go faster but it does, hence we have the speedometer so we can keep tabs on it LOL We did however request the bigger tires which makes a world of difference in the ride in our opinion. They are really great to deal with and we love the little custom touches they do to their carts and enclosures and as you can see by my post whatever they do did not negate our warranty at all as they did warranty work for us at N/C

I bought my cart at Clubs and Carts in February of this year and am very pleased with the way it was put together. They have done extra things that other cart companies dont.

They were easy to work with, very personable and knew the cart from head to toe. When it was delivered, the person that brought the cart spent two hours going over every aspect of it. I like the fact they come to the house to do the maintenance...so far so good.

I have also had my golf cart for about 18 months and have nothing but good things to say about carts and clubs. a few minor problems but they have always resolved them quickly and I love that they come to my house to fix the problems.

Looks like an issue that the POA should not bother with.

Please read this thread. https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...arranty-111180

I was extremely happy with C & C until they & Yamaha refused to honor their warranty! C& C did everything until they realized it would cost them money because the clutch in these carts are no good. I paid $238.50for them to replace the style clutch that was in my 2013 EFI. They tried by changing belts ,then replacing the original with another clutch of the same type. Finally they told me that I needed a team clutch that they called an aftermarket product that neither they or Yamaha would pay for. So YES the POA should continue their investigation!!!!
