Default Swim Spa Information

We are considering a swim spa for the back yard and would appreciate any comments from spa owners concerning their experience with it.

Also the company installing it and your opinion of them.

I didn't own one, but I've had occasion to repeatedly (try to) use a "swim-in-place" pool at a large condominium complex. If you happen to be a very proficient swimmer with a measured stroke PERHAPS it would work out for you. For me, my stroke wasn't smooth enough and the water flow kept knocking me out of "the stream" and into the walls. I'm just a recreational swimmer and it wasn't effective or enjoyable for me.

Your experience is similar to a lot I read about many swim spa brands. The MIhcael Phelps Momentum swimspa that ha the propulsion jets allows you to adjust it to whatever your abililty is thus eliminating getting knocked out by the jets. I am not a swimmer but my husband does know how to swim, so we needed a swimspa with a range of options and this choice had the best reviews to mitigate exactly what people have issues with in regard tother makes and models. I think it is worth checking out the Phelps product line of swimspas.
