We had our cyv driveway and sidewalks painted and clear coated in 2012 by Aristicrete. We were satisfied with the service and cost. I'm wondering how often the clear coating should be done and would like to hear recommendations as to whether to hire it done or have you done it yourself. I talked with Aristicrete today and their price for clear coating at $500 seems excessive. I was told that we could not do it ourselves as the chemicals were strong and would require a license to buy but I have heard of others who have done it themselves.

$500 for that is a racket.

Will be waiting to hear who does it reasonably and whose work lasts more than a year or two.
