Has anyone had their AC/furnace ducts cleaned ?? If so, do you think it was benficial and what was the cost and contractor.

Warren, I had mine cleaned around 4 years ago and do not remember who I used or exactly how much I paid. I called a company that was advertising in the DS at the time. I seem to remember that it was around $15-$20 per vent.
Was it worth it? Oh, yes indeed. You will be banished during the process (I stayed on the lanai) and as soon as you're able to go back in you'll be astonished at the difference. Our homes absorb so many odors, most of which we are unaware because we breathe them every day - and the complete lack of odor after duct/vent cleaning is like breathing the freshest air imaginable.
It's definitely worth the $$.
