In trying to get our new house set up, we went to Mattress One for a mattress, boxspring, frame and headboard for one of the guest rooms. Found what we liked, paid, arranged delivery for 2 days later and thought we were done. Our salesperson at the Summerfield store was Donna and she deserves special recognition for her lack of customer service as this story progresses. The delivery guys arrived, set up the frame, boxspring and mattress and then said "oh, the headboard is on backorder" Donna missed that point when she sold us the set. We called Donna who said she would check to see when the headboard would be available and call us back. 2 days...no call, so we called again...she said the same thing...again no call. We then called customer service who said they had 28 in stock and could deliver one in two days....great. Except they never showed up. Called customer service again who said they couldn't figure out why it hadn't been delivered, but they would personally go to the delivery section to ensure it would be delivered in 2 days. They just called to say someone forgot to put it on the truck. I cancelled the order (should have done that already) and asked to speak to a manager. Was informed that the manager was out. Asked to speak to the next level manager and was informed that that manager did not speak to customers. I wonder who he thinks pays his salary. Anyway, we'll fix this at our end and file the appropriate complaints with BBB etc. but would just advise everyone else to stay clear of these crooks.

Credit card... Call them and advise... Cancel order as the item has not arrived after 4 attempts... You will get action |
