Can anyone recommend a service provider that can refinish Corian counter tops?

Actually, corian can be refinished with a green 3M pad, the kind you scrub pots with. That's what the installers use. It will take out all the scratches and leave a nice matte finish. I did this myself for some commercial applications.

I did the same thing but than went to a fine wet sandpaper and polished it with a car buffer and car wax. It came out very nice and as good as new.

Thanks for the info, I was afraid to tackle this myself but I think I will give it a try. What do I have to lose.
