Default Tile in Kitchen

We just closed on our home and would like to have tile put in the Kitchen. We know that Lowes and HD have tiles but wonder if there are better places to get them. We are looking to put in 18" tiles. Any advise is welcome.

Prices vary a LOT. Shop around. Often sales at HD or Lowes can't be beat.

I do not recommend the big box stores for installation. Labor prices are high and installers can be inexperienced. Try one of the local flooring stores. Todd (205-7650) and Chuck (272-8963) at Royal Palm Flooring are the owners and lead installers on the job. They are also Village residents and do a great job.

Lowes has better variety on backsplash tiles than HD
If you need a backsplash installer, go w Billy Carter

There are a couple great places in Ocala which have wonderful tile...amazing selection..and far more diverse than HD or Lowes. Try Bowen and Trinity...fairly close to each other.

Welcome to the forum! Tell us a little about yourself, where you're from, what village you live in, if any, etc.
