Default Plantation Shutters

Looking for company to purchase and install Plantation Shutters. I see there are a number of companies on the site here but does anyone have any personnel recommendations or experience with them.

We had plantation shutters installed this week by Shutter Pro's. We love the shutters, the installers were terrific, the fit is perfect. It took about 7 weeks from the time they measured the windows to installation.

After getting three estimates, earlier this year, we used Sunburst Shutters out of Gainesville. They were willing to make their price competitive and I liked their shutters best re material and warranty. Their number is 813-756-8292.

Shutter Pros did all the windows in our cyv, the lead time felt a little long but not excessive, well worth the wait. The quality is excellent, the price was better than 4 others I had quotes from. The material is all PVC (or some other plastic) and looks very nice. All the frames, stiles, and blades are metal reinforced. Installation was fast and professional. Absolutely no complaints.

Did not like the wood, fake wood, or MDF shutters that the other suppliers had. If they get wet you are out of luck, the plastic, no problems with water. We open the windows as much as possible when the weather is nice and don't always catch it when it starts to rain (as it frequently does here in FL) so being waterproof is a big deal.

After seeing ours, 4 of our cyv neighbors purchased from them also.
